Are we sharing ghost stories and spooky experiences on here then? I will start, when we were little we used to hear children running on the landing at my Nan's house. I am also about 95% sure that I saw a ghost in her hallway, I was only a child though.

I can't quite place it but it was a blurry figure, could have been a dream or maybe I remember it differently...I was really young at the time.

Something invisable ran into the back of DH's car the other week. He was doing 70mph on a deserted motorway in the early hours and something rear ended him. So something that was going faster than 70mph! No debris in the road that he saw and he wasn't near a bridge. Visable dent in the car bumper.

My mum used to tell us a story about her baby sister.

When Mum's sister was three years old, she took her out for a walk behind their house, which was like an open field. As she was walking with her, she saw a boy from afar who shouted at my Mum to give her sister to her. My Mum shouted back "no" and kept walking. The boy gradually came closer and by this time my Mum had picked her up. He came up close to my Mum and said "give her to me" and my Mum said "no" again and when she looked into his eyes, he had white eyes (no pupils/iris). She screamed and ran back to the house carrying her, and when she turned around to see if she was being chased there was no one there.

When they got home her sister developed a really bad fever, and by the evening she had died in my Grandfather's arms :(.

My Mum used to fondly remember her sister.

I can't stop laughing at that Grin

Oh mrbloom that made me go a bit shivery!
My gran, a very down to earth straightforward kind of woman always swore blind that when my mum was first dating she would wait by her front gate, smoking, for her to come home. They lived in a house with open fields in front. One night she saw two lights bobbing up and down in the field and stood for ages trying to work out what it was. She said as it got closer it was clearly a horse and carriage heading straight for her. Apparently my mum found her crouching in the hedge that night, she was too scared to come out on her own.

Thankfully it was a hire car and the hire company never noticed the dent when they picked it up. Grin
