Bullying comments/ nastiness on x factor thread

Thats someone's daughter you are implying is a pig.
I know x factor causes sarcastic/funny comments and posts but, after reading last nights posts on the halloween show, i couldn't believe grown women ( many of you mothers)
Would make such nasty comments.
Doesn't that girl have enough to deal with? Just being a young woman is hard enough never mind being slagged off online by grown ups!

Did you actually read last nights posts?

People said they felt bad and sorry and stopped saying it.

So this is a shit stirring thread about a thread.

And I didn't call her it, before you lay into me.

I do have to say stop frothing and get off that high ole horse though

ihatethecold · 30/10/2011 06:26

Yes i read all the posts!
You wouldn't be writing those things if you wern't anonymous.
It was just sad to read!

Erm well I must have left the thread early then.

Have you posted on the thread op? You should really talk to the people themselves and tell them what you think like a grown up

MonstrouslyNarkyPuffin · 30/10/2011 06:37

If you're watching the X Factor there is no moral high ground. It deliberately passes people through auditions to put them in front of the judges to be publically humiliated and rejected.

FanjoForTheMuahahammaries · 30/10/2011 06:44

What Puffin said

SocialButterfly · 30/10/2011 06:47

So why draw attention to it? The thread ended last night, you commented at the time and make your thoughts know. To come on the next day and tell everyone about it seems bad form to me. I went a read the thread, something I wouldn't have done if you hadn't pointed it out. Yes it's a bit mean but they did say they felt bad and stopped saying it.

FanjoForTheMuahahammaries · 30/10/2011 06:47

Just hate sanctimonious threads about threads, especially about X factor which is pantomime plus I always think WTF do you think you are to tell people off for having a laugh

FanjoForTheMuahahammaries · 30/10/2011 06:49

And 'you wouldn't write these things if you weren't anonymous' is a bit school playground

Proudnscary · 30/10/2011 06:57

OP, I refer you to my 'bitch' thread on use of the word 'nasty'.

Please grow up (and calm down).

Anyone who watches X Factor (I do) is a part of the most manipulative, cynical money-making, shit-stirring machine - the producers' whole raison d'etre is to stir up controversy and inspire threads like this one. So well done for playing into their hands.

LoveBeingAWitch · 30/10/2011 07:01

Have to say I've now gone back and read the rest, was expecting much worse tbh. If you've got a problem tell the teachers mnhq or sort it out on the thread. What are you hoping for by starting a new thread? So for that reason alone YABU
