Try cutting maclarins major biffy boxes open with bread knifes while on the phone. I tried, slipped, cut right through my thumb and need to go to theatre today because I've probably sliced through a tendon.

Of course it's their fault for gluing the lid of the box shut instead of old fashioned tape. Not mine for sawing it viciously while nattering away to my gran.

With Christmas coming up I think we should all invest in a good pair of scissors.

Buggy. I don't know what a biffy is.

Thanks, but I'm generally sensible enough not to wield bread knives willy nilly while on the phone...

Glad to hear it. I can't believe how stupid I am! Panicking about the care of my DS (ASD) after I'm all stitched up as he needs restraint most days.

Oh that sounds like something I would do! (nearly severed my big toe on the kitchen bin lid - don't ask!)

Oh My God!! I think most people have tried opening a box with a knife...

Obviously not clever people like Haunted though, and how kind of her to point out how stupid you were!
