I commute daily so my perspective may be off. I often have shorter fuse especially, when running late which I was. Feel free to tell me I was BU. I often wonder if i suffer from train rage.
This guy sits opposite me on the train and gets out a huge filled croissant. I'm not a fan of eating on trains but sometimes you don't have time to eat before you leave home so I'm not bothered. Anyway, very well dressed, suit, tie, briefcase, everything. He was dropping flakes of it everywhere though, all over his trousers and he kept brushing them onto the floor and over my shoes too.
He finishes eating and starts picking the bits of croissant out of his teeth with his fingers and eats the bits that were stuck in his teeth. He then pulls out the cafe napkin out and blows his nose on if for ages. Then he sticks a finger up the napkin and sticks it up his nose, twisting it around and around, pulling it out to look at it. Then he does the other nostril.
Then he noticed stains on his suit trousers. He starts licking his fingers and properly cleaning off the stains with his spit. He did it at least 3 times on different spots giving it a right old clean with his saliva.
At that point I could stand looking at this no longer and wondered what the hell he was going to do next: scratch his balls perhaps?! So i got up to move while muttering "What disgusting manners" loud enough for him to hear me. He looked genuinely surprised by my remark and kept looking at me throughout the rest of the journey.
Got on the tube for the next leg of my journey and a woman is leaning on the arm rest to the left of me. She had her hand buried in her hair. She scrathed and scratched and picked. White snow falling out of her hair, narrowly missing my coat. Then she did the other side. Then she went back to the side closest to me and picked her head some more. Then she examined her nails and then picked the bits she picked from her head out of her nails. When she went back for another scratch, I said to her "Could you possibly pick your dandruff at home" I got an evil look for her so i got up and moved.
AIBU to think this is f-ing disgusting behaviour? I see more and more of it on the trains every day, people no longer seem to care.
