On the weekends I'll go upstairs and settle my 5 month old and stay up there for at LEAST half an hour if not more enjoying the peace and quiet while do holds the fort.

YANBU, my DH does the toddler's bed now and I just know he catches some winks while I'm stuck down here listening to the bigger one read boringdullasfuckIwanttopokemyeyesout school books, then comes down and says 'ooh, he really wasn't very settled tonight'!

But then I used to, in the early days of DS2, deliberately latch him on so I 'had' to have tea brought to me in front of TV leaving DH to deal with 'eat with your mouth closed' and other tedious table stuff hahahaha!

Yes-there's always something good on telly at "bath for the other two, milk for baby" time! . I'm sure he knows but indulges me, bless him!
