To all the family, since announcing ds and dd was greeted with really hurtful negative comments. Despite the fact we've never relied on any of them for anything.

My sisters can both no longer have children.

Went through a horrible stage with one of them trying to kick me in the stomach when I was 6 months pregnant with ds. Ds is 18 months now, and I'm 5 weeks off giving birth to dc2.

We have a strained relationship, to put it nicely...but I don't involve her in ds's life if I can help it (awkward as the family are fairly close and to ease the stress on my mother I try to avoid confrontation in front of her).

It's horrible, but to be honest, there comes a time where you put your family first, and me and my husband have decided the babies come first and if anyone dislikes it, then they don't have to welcome us with open arms.

standard that is so awful! I do hope you were both ok, you sound far better off without them.

I need to stop caring so much about what other people say and think and concentrate on my own little family
