LSS.
moved in a new place DS still not fully settled takes a long time to get to sleep and then without fail wakes early hours of the morning ,not had a nights sleep in nearly 2 months goes to sleep fairly quickly once in with us but dp, ds n me is not cosy and im hanging off the bed knees in the back, you name it =, which causes me alot of pain and i'm tired its even worse cause im anaemic, I feel like a zombie.
last night I woke up and he was snoring asleep I thought ill try and put him quietly back in his cot, as soon as he touched the pillow, rolled over stood up and screeched, I just went 'shut up' :( but took him back in with me.
So today I'm so tired and in so much pain I can't entertain him in the way I try to e.g. park.playing so its a TV day Blush etc feeling so guilty. :(

My emergency nap solution (for you not him) is both of you on the sofa with a film and put your arms around him and link your fingers. That way you can nod/doze and know you'll wake if he tries to get down. It will get you through the day.

Rollon2012 · 19/10/2011 12:38

thanks for that :)
he ones of those kids that you havce to make go to sleep it easy to get him to nap

couldnt you have left him in your bed and you gone down and kipped on sofa if you dont want to leave him to cry in his cot/lay him down etc

ChippingInToThePumpkinLantern · 19/10/2011 16:19

How old is he?

You are clearly not coping with the lack of sleep and this can't continue. Let's see if we can help :0)

I closed my eyes for 5 strapped him in his buggy for a bit slightly refreshed , I think my dp was a bit taken aback I was crying I think he 'gets it' now its hard to appreciate how bad it can be if youre not experiencing it.
