Well, if it's all due to half-term, I think it would be perfectly reasonable for us to petition the Department for Education (or whatever it is) to ban all school holidays from now on as they interfere with our enjoyment of Mumsnet.

I did notice a flurry of weird threads. Very strange.

I have hidden more threads in the last two days than in the last two years I think! There are also a few odd posters about and a few normal ones who seem to be a little frothy. I am assuming they are enduring experiencing half term and are under a lot of stress.

I thought it was full moon as dd woke up at 4.30 totally wired and wanting to play (she normally does this on a full moon) However, I just checked online and it's a waning gibbous so I guess the aliens have invaded!

I keep clicking on normalish looking threads and finding out they're wind ups, and then looking at titles that surely must be wind ups- to find that apparently they're real. Yes a real person is worrying about this shit.

What was the reason for deletion? Thread about a thread? Or trolling?
