MIL texted this morning saying she has SIL's kids today and could she come over, I said yes, fine, but I have to be out of the house by four, latest.
She said she'd be over straight after lunch at 12.
it's 2 now, no MIL.
Texted her 45 minutes ago if she was still coming and she said she was on her way to me right now. she lives 5 sodding minutes away.
grrr.

Text her back saying you have to go out now, shame she couldn't make it over.

what inertia said...

bloody irritating...

mumsamilitant · 22/09/2011 14:11

I would have thought the less time the betterBlush

Unless you get on well or have put something off/waited in.

well, I have been waiting in. she turned up about 5 minutes ago, was received with "did you get lost on the way?" then SIL phoned her and said she was at MIL's front door, why wasn't she there with her kids?! so she left again.

we normally do get on fairly well (as long as I ignore certain behaviours), but I am rather pissed off now because I spent the whole afternoon waiting for her and didn't get as much as a sorry.

Oh that sounds very annoying and rude.

Wonder what she was doing instead of being on her way.

Irritating & rude.

But I only answered to say that you have a great name Grin
