update on the ' rant to this evenings date'

Just got a text from him saying he's going to struggle to meet me before 9 pm.

Yeah.

So, blown out two days in a row, I was totally right to rant at him yesterday.

What a cock :(

I'm surprised he wants to mmet you tbh!

Did he say why he couldn't make it till 9? (which imho is a perfectly acceptable time to meet anyway)

Maybe he has to work / has a class / has to do something with his kids / help his elderly mother / go to the doctor's / wait for a delivery / meet a friend in need

Maybe it's nothing to do with you

In fact. maybe it's not all about you at all

Give him a break!

I'm thinking the same.
He said 9 ish. Maybe nearer 9.30.
He wasn't sure when.

Thing is he said this about yeasterday but was logged into the dating site at 7.30 pm.

Curry! you know I really adore you but I think you're wrong here. This bloke is a twat. Trust me, having been in the internet dating thing for so long on and off, there is a certain type - the flake. This twat is one of them. You can't give an inch with dating, or they will take the piss forever. It's a different world.

Don't give him the opportunity to reject you again. You're right - if he wanted to see you, nothing would stand in his way, he's just too cowardly to say so and so he's putting up obstacles hoping that you'll fade away. You deserve better, don't accept less.
