I'm talking about David Cameron! Right If you was to take over a company and there had been some problems issues go on which causes it to go a bit tits up askew, would you constantly be blaming the last person in charge or just knuckle down and get on with it like he should!

LadyBeagleEyes · 14/09/2011 13:14

It's the nature of politics, they all do it.
It pisses me off too.

sistersootica · 14/09/2011 13:16

I would bang on and on about how it was my predecessors fault instead of any other meaningful strategy Grin

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 14/09/2011 13:16

Blaming the last person??? Did you miss Tony Bliar droning on and on and onnnnnnnnnn about the Tories? Hmm

Give it a rest, all politicians are the same. They are evil, coated with teflon and blame their predecessors for the country's ills - it's a well known fact.

CogitoErgoSometimes · 14/09/2011 13:16

I'd blame the previous management for as long as possible, especially if they are actively trying to take the company back over again and running a constant PR campaign saying what bad a job I was doing and how wonderfully rosy it all was when they were in charge..... People have very short memories.

grovel · 14/09/2011 13:17

YABU if that is your reason for hating Cameron. Labour are constantly criticising the Tories for problems which arose on Labour's watch and which they know perfectly well will take years to solve.
You can hate Cameron for other things if you like.

KatiesKittens · 14/09/2011 13:22

David Cameron bugs the hell out of me, that said, so does every other politician. They are all as bad as each other imho. IPerhaps if they all stopped moaning about each other and actually did something worthwhile for a change things might be a bit better!

Katieskittens my point exactly. Maisie liking the evil coated with teflon illustration! :o other things mither me too, like the time he referred to 'winning' the election, if it was 'won' why the need to form a coallition (sp?) government Hmm grovel thanks for permission I'm sure I could find other reasons :)

forrestgump · 14/09/2011 13:33

There are men and women I hate with far more passion, he is just doing his job, he isnt 100% in control.

Tanif · 14/09/2011 13:34

You can feel free to vote for me next time around. I'm giving away a free unicorn with every vote.

stinkyfluffycat · 14/09/2011 13:38

How big is the unicorn? I'll vote for you if it'll fit in the garden and doesn't bite.
And YANBU, OP, Cameron is a slimy shiny faced oily turd - git.

PuspornInBoots · 14/09/2011 13:45

No matter who you vote for the Government always gets in - they're all the same, in it for themselves and what they can get out of it - party affiliation makes no difference anymore - not that there's anything much to choose between the conservatives and labour any more anyway.

LadyDangermouse · 14/09/2011 13:52

yaNbu

but am I being unreasonable to have developed a wholly unnatural crush on Barack Obama ...? Grin

I think he is a complete genius and I cannot imagine any of the other limp wristed presidents in recent memory having had the balls to take Osama Bin Laden out when the securities forces had provided a report stating only 40% - 50% likelihood that OBL was in that compound in Abbottobad !!!

LadyBeagleEyes · 14/09/2011 14:18

I also love Barack, he's the only politician I'd happily shag Grin.

Tanif · 14/09/2011 14:22

stinky the unicorn is quite small, bred using shetland ponies and small, tusked pigs. Definitely fine for a reasonably sized garden and guaranteed not to bite. It also shits rainbows.

stinkyfluffycat · 14/09/2011 14:29

Tanif it shits rainbows? Wonderful. Will vote for you, and if you could get the cat to shit rainbows while you're at it rather than on the floor next to the litter tray that would be great.

takingbackmonday · 14/09/2011 16:39

YABU

I love Cameron and having met him on many occasions I believe that rightly or wrongly he believes he is doing the right thing for the country.

At the moment, what's the alternative?! I wish he was stronger on a lot of issues but I do like him

slug · 14/09/2011 16:45

What? David rioters-are-violent-but-Bullingdon-club-trashing-is-merely-hijinks Cameron?

Nice cuddly let's-brush-over-my-misoginistic-comments-by-lining-female-MPs-up-behind-me-at-PMQ-like-Top-Gear-totty Dave?

Surely not Hmm

takingbackmonday · 14/09/2011 16:50

I think those comments were over analysed. So he told someone to calm down? It could have been a man, he's always pushed for more female MPs. The Bullingdon club weren't much more rowdy than most university rugby team dinners - they weren't setting fire to buildings, stealing tvs etc

GossipWitch · 14/09/2011 17:01

personal opinion here, I hate the present government they don't give a crap about the public, there only care is money!!!and they piss me off banging about it so much. If it bothers them that much stop handing it out to other countries and sort out your own. simple!!! I cant see them getting far in the next election, even people in the forces will be voting elsewhere as there cutting back on them, and letting them know they have no job by TEXT!

slug · 14/09/2011 17:09

It was vandalism which somehow didn't attract the same penality for similar crimes commited by "feral" youth The man is a hypocrite and completely unable to empathise with the general public who didn't grow up with his advantages.

And before you accuse me of being biased against the rich, Boris Johnson manages to have the same background as "Call me Dave" and still manages to have some understanding of life on the lower rungs of the income scale. And Tony Benn who is even more aristocratic that Dave is both better behaved and deeply empathatic.

CherylWillBounceBack · 14/09/2011 17:13

He and every other mainstream politician are simply puppets to the real rulers, the financial and land owning elite.

We live in a kleptocracy that uses divide and rule to make the apathetic masses think there's some form of democracy going on.

Arguments between Labour, Tory and Lib Dem's are a complete set up.

Sevenfold · 14/09/2011 17:14

yanbu
but then I hate the plastic scammer
