into fish shapes

they look so cool :)

Having now seen the lunchbox ideas on the site I feel woefully inadequate,
my soggy marmite sandwiches with an apple and pack of crisps seems like child abuse
:( Wink

I would just like to be able to make decent boiled eggs full stop, never mind fashioning tham into shapes :(

SquishyCinnamonSwirls · 07/09/2011 19:35

Oh they're so cool! I like them, and I know dd would too. (I'm a sad sack that gets out the cookie cutters and makes silly shapes - dd had heart shaped sandwiches today).

Dd has an insulated, stackable bento lunchbox. Highly recommended, it's fab !

Our first DC is presently still in my uterus so can't do it for him/her but might do one for DH (and me) Grin.

LoveInAColdClimate · 07/09/2011 20:34

Ooooh, those Planet Boxes look great. I quite fancy those for our lunches.

Firawla · 07/09/2011 20:42

they look so cute i might get some of these moulds and do this, i think my 3 yr old may be quite impressed by shaped eggs

TheGhostNotMe · 07/09/2011 21:07

I'm going to chance it - the eggs are in boiling. If they stink in the morning I will leave them in the fridge - or go and eat my lunch in my car!!

Love the idea of the moulds for the kids though, finally managing to get them to eat eggs, so this would be fab

FelixCited · 07/09/2011 21:31

stop the clock... you can do coloured eggs..

scroll to the bottom of the link
justbento.com/handbook/bento-decoration-techniques/fun-japanese-egg-molds

now surely someone will say I'm being unreasonable now..
but
in for a penny in for a pound I say!
