To have started preparing for winter already?

It is a lovely sunny day where I am but this morning I sorted through all our coats, wellies etc to make sure they all fit and then went shopping for gloves, hats, scarves and a snow shovel. The winter tyres will be put back on mid October and we will stock up on grit soon too.

I refuse to get caught out again this year!

Anyone else doing this or am I completely off my trolley? Grin

Just remembered this thread :)

Well I am nearly ready. Bought a 2 man sledge in Halfords for £10 last week, getting my neck buff this weekend plus some glove liners for DH as he rides a motorbike to work, getting the grit this weekend too, winter tyres going on early Oct as I had a car accident a couple of weeks ago so car is in for repair till then - grrr!. Noticed that Aldi have childrens and adults thermals on sale from today so I am heading there after work.

Any ideas on how to keep feet warm inside wellies and how to stop snow getting inside the kids boots?

Sheepskin insoles a must for warm feet- but they're not in stock in Timpson's yet so if anyone finds any anywhere else - shout out please.

Winter tyres ordered! :D
