To want the cleaning fairy

To come and tidy up the mess DS has just made in the living room while eating his biscuit?

I know I gave it to him and I watched him eat it and make the mess. (Only marginally less mess than when DH gave him a rusk - DVD player is still sticky! Grin ) But still...

Which one of you have chained the fairy up so I don't get a shot?! Hmm Wink

YABU - I want them to come here first!

CoffeeIsMyFriend · 02/09/2011 13:34

hmmf I think I am the bloody fairy in this house.

I cant wait for the kids to go back to school - only for my house to stay tidy. DS is fine, he confines mess to his bedroom and tidies up after himself. DD on the other hand leaves a trail of destruction as she wanders round the house.

Shoes, socks, plates, tissues (why) drinks, dolls, glittery bloody things everywhere...

I've been wondering where she's gone aswell!
If you find her could you send her my way once she's done at yours, I have a mountain of ironing that needs doing :(

Fuzzled · 02/09/2011 13:35

Ironing is a nasty word in this house. Almost as bad as dusting... Grin

I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry. :( The cleaning fairy is in our house. Somewhere. I haven't seen her for a few days and I fear she has got lost in the mess and clutter. As soon as I dig her out find her I will chain her up so she can't escape send her to the highest bidder.

Fuzzled · 02/09/2011 13:44

I bid
• Half a chewed biscuit
• New pair of ladies jeans coated in said biscuit
• one DS refusing to contemplate a nap, despite falling over 'cause he is so tired.

Do I win?! Wink

'Do I win?! '

Ummm, let me think about it ...

No. Angry

cleanteeth · 02/09/2011 13:47

I bid my pile of ironing, the pile of dishes in the sink and the lovely bird ripped in half that my cat has kindly left on the front step.
I think I should win!

TheVermiciousKnid · 02/09/2011 13:48

'I think I should win!'

NO! Angry

Fuzzled · 02/09/2011 14:22

NO! Angry

She's mine, all mine!

I would love the cleaning fairy to visit me - but I fear that, if she did, the poor sparkly thing would have a nervous breakdown at the sight of my kitchen floor. Blush

BTW - in my mind, the cleaning fairy looks like Anthea Turner, but with tutu and sparkly wings. Grin

The cleaning fairy ? HE is cleaning my kitchen as I type.
