I know im being U BUT 4.5 hours ago workman told me my electric will be off whilst repairing the lines and he said it would be off for 3 hrs.

It's now been 4.5 hrs and I'm dying of boredom!!!

Does he not realise i have programs sky+ to watch?! As well as washing that needs doing etc

Would it be unreasonable to go and tell them to come back in the middle of night when no one needs their electricity?

I bet there's some super interesting filing/window washing/fridge scrubbing you could be doing. Get to it.

Not entirely convinced that any of us were in a panic or worrying, Hairy, or that throwing a tantrum would have got the job done sooner - but it's good that you can watch the box again and use your computer on mains.

If he's still working offer him a cup of tea, it's always welcome.

Eplilate Grin

Um, don't want to scare you, but a few weeks ago we had our electricity off for works. We lost everything in our Sky+ :(
