Their ridiculous over acting and constant expressions like they're squeezing out a shit. AAAAAAARRRRGH! My son loves them.

Fortunately DS doesn't watch much that they're in on TV.

But when I had to suffer sit through the Horrid Henry film the other day, I found them so unbearable that I wanted to rip my own arm off just to have something to throw at the cinema screen.

I think they're pretty funny, and the Legend of Dick and Dom makes me cry laughing at times. Also Dom is lush! I guess they're like Marmite.

To give you an idea of my sense of humour though, I also laughed at the cat a lot in The Smurfs. More than my daughters, and anyone else in the cinema.

I'm so glad you posted this. I have never liked them. I had to walk out of the room when they were on. DC3 liked them, I couldn't ever understand it.

They used to make me angry for some reason, too. and breathe. It's making me angry just thinking about them.

I once had a stand-up row with Dick in the first class carriage of a Virgin Train after I had the temerity to take the last piece of available luggage space. His sense of entitlement, simply because he was, you know, famous, was staggering. Dick.

Are they the ones that go to places like public libraries and theatres and shout bogeys? If so, YANBU.

I use to enjoy the bungalow saturday mornings with a hangover and when i was pregnant with first 2 years ago i had many reaccuring filthy sexual dreams about dick & dom so have a little soft spot for them:))
Apparently thry do the voices for the new bananas in pjs and they are very annoying!!

They're banned in our house, so DCs have never actually seen them for longer than it takes me to find the remote and turn them off. Perhaps oddly, none of the DCs have ever questioned this, it's just "we don't watch them" - not sure if DCs even know their names now I think about it. We do the same for "that man with the stupid boxes" when Noel Edmonds comes on (how DOES that game work?? rhetorical Q I don't actually want to know, I just don't understand it, can't bear it, and wind DH up something rotten cos he likes it and persists in trying to explain it to me, seemingly thinking I care....)

I love them, get into Tizwaz mode, they're great. Grown down! Then when its over, ban them and any repetition of their show, because that IS annoying.
