Have name-changed for this to spare my embarrassment.

As soon as I get home from work it's off with the work clothes and on with something loose and comfortable - old t-shirt and long hippy swirly skirt, usually. Shoes come off, Birkenstocks go on. I imagine it's not a look that's everyone's cup of tea, but only my DD and random door knockers will see me. If I'm expecting guests I dress in something appropriate.

Part of getting comfortable involves removal of bra (always) and, on warm days, knickers, too, and letting all my bits be unencumbered for a while. My sister thinks this is very weird of me and that I will 'regret it' - although she is unable to specify how!

AIBU to want to be comfortable in my own home? Incidentally, random door knockers would need to have x-ray eyes to be offended by my appearance. All my clothes are fully opaque.

Well I'm modestly built in that department, so no worries about tripping over, or hitting self in eye.

I am so intrigued as to how you will come to regret this? It almost sounds like some ancient warning like "remove thine bra and the land will dry up and the crops will fail"

I think, Catgirl, sister has images of me having accident/dying and ambulance drivers/undertakers discovering my not-very-dark secret. She is a prude.

I currently have the world's leakiest boobs due to bfing so a bra and pads is a must at all times to avoid flooding the house, but pre-dc I often went around the house with very little or nothing at all on. It backfired slightly when my DH's (then DP's) housemate saw me in the all together one day but I was smokin' hot back then so despite the embarrassment I also got a certain amount of satisfaction out of the incident.

Clothes are annoying and nudity is great. So say I.

I celebrate days when I don't have to see people so I can 'let it all hang loose' . There is nothing worse than wearing a bra when it's stonkingly hot. Unfortunately I do have the trip-over-them variety of boobs but I've never seriously injured a child with a sudden turn so I can't see the problem.

I quite often have a bath with at the same time as my children and have been known to waft around the house until midday (often longer) or from about 6.30 in my dressing gown with nowt underneath - incidentally I don't fully recommend this as I quite often forget to put the apron on when cooking

Well DS 7yo asked me the other day why you only have to wear bra's when you go out. So 'no' YADNBU.

I often take my knickers off too, I have the jersey type 3/4 tracksuit bottoms though so less air than you get.

I'm currently in pants & t-shirt - only put those on as I opened the front door and wouldn't want to traumatise anyone too badly.

Wear what you like in your own home I say. I love getting home at night and getting into my PJs - if anyone doesn't like it they don't have to look, do they!

On my working days, I get home at 5:30 and I get in the bath with my DS at about 6:30 every evening, and then I put my pyjamas on. Obviously no undies underneath! It feels so much better than being in proper clothes!

YANBU as soon as we are in for the day I am straight into PJs with no undies or bra.

I guess your sister is saying it is because your boobs might sag. I have whoppers GGs, they are gonna sag, I don't care because actually there is nothing wrong with having saggy boobs.
