i am a bit drunk ..feel sick.. was talking to a mn but got switched off.. want to stop drinking pls help.. u would help.if

No need to feel ashamed, it can creep up on you easily.

Just try to sort the little shit instead of seeing it as a huge wall in front of you.

Your DS is a good incentive if you think he might be noticing.

Will you DH help by not bringing the three bottles a night?

Is he finding it difficult coping with his sisters death?

i am in a similar situation
whatever is going on with you, go and check on your little ones
alcohol is something you have to work out -are you controlling it or is it controlling you. if you have little ones you know what the right answer is
i type this after a few drinks and under the sole responsibility for 2 - both of whom i have checked on 2 or 3 times in the last 45 mins. even in my slightly drunck state i have never seen anything more beautiful than my children sleeping.
and fukit if you have children i know deep down you know you too have never seen anything more beautiful - so do the right thing - children before alchohol. i'm not judging - as i say ive had a glass of wine myself tonight

Thank you all for last night.
first ever post on mn and i was completely wasted, what a first impression. Anyway i found the bus again and will continue posting there as AIBU not exactly right place to do all this anyway. i just got lost. i really appreciate all kind comments last night.dont plan on repeating last night again any time soon.

How brave of you to come back this morning and update, fukit - that's the first impression everyone will be getting of you - someone who is having a hard time but ISN'T afraid to face up to it. I take my hat off to you :)
