Was sending a text to my very close friend earlier. To my absolute horror - I realised that I sent the text to my husbands brother by mistake. I am so ashamed and embarrassed.

It read

....... I've got a gynae appointment in a couple of weeks. Looks like my fanny is falling out. I mean literally - falling out. My bladder has fallen into my vaginal wall. Prob need an op but will c what the gynae says..................

Can you believe that my bro in law read that? The absolute SHAME of it all Blush

Once, when DH's best mate was staying for a weekend, we'd let him stay in our room for some reason and we were in the spare bedroom. I got up for a wee in the night, and being half asleep, instead of going back to DH in the spare room, I climbed into bed with his best mate. I've never seen a bloke leap out of bed so quick in all my life.

PS I have the same fanny problem, except both my bladder and bowel have fallen into mine. Hope it goes OK at the gynae.

LolaRennt that won't work, BIL will see through that. Phone, don't text, (and please be careful you phone the right number - you have form now!) and apologise in whatever way will best persuade him to delete it and never mention it.

And thank you for giving us all a good laugh at your expense!

OP to make you feel better my best friend called me and left a message just after she had had her DS, she had a pretty bad time so I called her straight back, went to voicemail and left a very long message telling her about ice gel pads for knickers, not to worry too much about her first poo...all kinds of embarrassing stuff, went to hang up and looked and I had over-scrolled her number by one and was leaving a message on MY BOSS'S voicemails...aghhh, they both had those generic orange voicemail messages...

This is why they have that facility that says "press 1 at anytime to change your message" but I didn't think of that and hung up in a panic...DH was rolling around the floor crying with laughter when I told him and I was...crying!

I texted my boss frantically saying please don't listen to the message, he texted me back after a horrible wait saying he had deleted the message as requested....I will never know if he listened to it or not!

On a word of warning...I sent a text message to my friend the other day, it went to my dad, it was innocent but my phone showed message as going to my friend but my dad quoted it word for word....apparently this is a known bug on some android phones so you are duly warned!!!!

Could you send a text back apologising and saying that a mischievous teenage relative has got hold of your phone and sent 'funny' texts to random people in the phonebook? Good luck with the fanny btw a friend of mine has something silmilar.
