Was it a troll - I assumed it was a different take on the co sleeping debate.

troll or thread about a thread, it was very distasteful and alway going to end most unpleasantly.

Can never take stuff like that thread seriously as it always screams bored 14 yr old to me!

I know everyone always blames the school holidays but how bored does a 14 year old need to be to decide to make up posts on a parenting forum? How many 14 year olds have even heard of parenting fora?

I don't believe most trolls on here are bored teenagers at all.

Most trolls seem to know exactly how to tick the "outrage" boxes. Your average 14 yo would just look silly.

I think you're right worra - in that case troll isn't really the right description, not sure what the best one would be.

Wet- nursing was very common once, don't know when it died out.

I struggled to bf my own baby never mind anyone elses!

Blimey, that's my wrists slapped then. OK, not bored teenagers, just posters who may be regulars out for a wind-up with the maturity of bored teenagers.

I have met a wet nurse (in another country) and as it was a completely regular thing there so it seemed normal to me too. It's all down to circumstances and culture, isn't it?

When people have been saying trolls are out because it's the school holidays, I thought you all meant it was the mothers misbehaving for kicks rather than the kids.

I take school holiday trolls to be reg's staying up later & drinking more wine than normal & their little cliques posting obvious threads to cause chaos.

Hmm, a child & parenting parking thread may be next, Oh, Oh, how about a leaving my child asleep in the car whilst I unload shopping/pay for petrol thread.

We deleted that thread because we had some serious doubts that it was genuine and didn't want to waste your precious posting time.

I thought it was SIL of the woman who posted about the co sleeping seeking vengence :)

Made a point I guess, if is so right on to co sleep with someone else's baby why not whip a boob out and BF it and all.

Troll or not there is nothing wrong with discussing different topics. Me I do t know how to name change can anybody help
