Unspeakably awful

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 04/08/2011 21:51

Presumably, like all this daft ideas, it comes from accross the pond.

blewit · 04/08/2011 21:52

How bizarre! I could never keep a hat on mine, though must confess haven't tried a wig.

cheekeymonkey · 04/08/2011 21:52

The baby has pierced ears, lets leave it there shall we?

lovinme · 04/08/2011 21:52

oh my gosh I can't stop laughing why would you want that!

SuePurblybilt · 04/08/2011 21:52

Why wigs on babies? Why? Particularly Myra Hindley wigs?

ClaireDeLoon · 04/08/2011 21:53

Wigs, for babies? Aren't they cute enough hairless anymore?

issey6cats · 04/08/2011 21:54

yuk my daughter had virtually no hair till she was about two then just as it started to get a bit longer her horrid big brother got at it with a pair of scissors so it was back to short again but no way in a million years would i have bought one of those

FFS Shock

I really did not think that site with wigs for cats could be beaten - but this...

Why do people get so offended/upset when random strangers get their baby's sex wrong?? Just wait, she'll grow hair in her own time

Butterflybows · 04/08/2011 21:55

Oh for goodness sake! I've never seen anything so ridiculous. Shock

rhondajean · 04/08/2011 21:56

That cant be real. Noone would actually buy that.

Would they??

AuntieMonica · 04/08/2011 21:56

for fuck's sake

PacificDogwood · 04/08/2011 21:57

KittyWigs for your delectation Grin

GreenEyesandHam · 04/08/2011 21:57

Cute baby in a dodgy looking wig.

For that reason, I'm Out. Grin

TCOB · 04/08/2011 21:58

This is totally brilliant - in a desperately awful way. My baldie DD (12 months) is quite cool with being called a boy as she currently has no secondary sexual characteristics. Cannot believe someone could get so bothered that they would think a bleddy syrup is the answer. Anyway if you are that arsed over what other people think isn't the thing to do dress them in (bleugh) pink velour or something??

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 04/08/2011 21:59

off here and on my bookface in under 60 seconds Grin

superjobee · 04/08/2011 22:00

ha! my DD was mistaken for a boy till she was 4 and whilst i am not sad enough to buy one of these i could have had a right laugh joking about it Grin poor babies not being appreciated for themselves tho, its a bit sad that mums would rather conform than stand up for their babbys :(

PotterWatch · 04/08/2011 22:01

How horrible, unfortunately, after seeing a picture that my brothers DP showed me the other day, I can believe that there are people that would buy this awful tat.

The picture was of a 1 year old girl, pierced ears, gold bracelet and a HUGE thick gold chain (that was like a mans, not even a thin a dainty chain) that came down to her belly with a massive gold dummy hanging from it (the size of a real dummy). This poor girl wears it all the time (several pictures seen, all complete with jewellery), I wish I was joking, I really do. But I'm not.

PotterWatch · 04/08/2011 22:02

Absolutely PMSL at the kitty wigs though!!!!! Grin

AgentZigzag · 04/08/2011 22:05

Cat in a wig...baby in a wig...cat in a wig...

Can't decide which is more bizarre.

It's a <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=dog+in+a+wig&hl=en&biw=1146&bih=718&tbm=isch&tbnid=UQSM42T55l5eQM:&imgrefurl=cubeme.com/blog/2008/05/28/dog-and-kitty-wigs/&docid=BuLoFk-PEkWyPM&w=520&h=520&ei=_Ag7TovgE4Gp8APeh_SNAw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=162&vpy=112&dur=1873&hovh=224&hovw=224&tx=148&ty=145&page=1&tbnh=134&tbnw=180&start=0&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">dog in a wig, if the dog has a collar and tie on as well.

TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 04/08/2011 22:31

Some people should just get themselves a dolly instead.

DuelingFanjo · 04/08/2011 22:35

ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
people will actually buy these though. My son is bald but I obviously can't buy those as they are just for girls, right?

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha a hah ah

SenoritaViva · 04/08/2011 22:36

Smirking all the way to bed. Hilarious.

midori1999 · 04/08/2011 22:40

I can't stop laughing. I thought baby head bands alone were bad enough....
