To not want to go away for a week

for work and leave my 21 month old dd. Have to go to a conference, no choice but to attend. DD is going through big 'daddy is my favourite' stage and (aside from missing her anyway) I am worried that my week away will make it worse! Any tips? Thanks :o)

Won't it make things better? You'll be hugely missed!

phone in sick

That's fraud.

It will make it better. He will be the the who is always there and therefore boring. Enjoy!

smugtandemfeeder · 02/08/2011 22:09

make yourself sick - is that fraud?

Ismeyes · 02/08/2011 22:12

Fraud...shit...lock up half the British workforce Hmm

Your DD will be fine, she won't even remember.

Go, make sure you make the most of every drinking networking opportunity of an evening, eat lots of luxurious breakfasts and enjoy it. Do you think Daddy would feel even an ounce of guilt if it was him that had to go?

Of course you will miss your dd madly, but she will be fine with her dad.
