Postman has just delivered a 'Year 10 Award' from ds's school. It reads:

"This certificate has been awarded to ds 'aka Mr Orthodontist'

For general awesomeness in class"

Is this a little strange or is it just me?

Sounds like an award the pupils have voted on, which is nice

Would be a bit Hmm about the dental reference if he wears braces though - is it a nickname he Is comfortable with?

Perhaps he thinks school is like pulling teeth Grin

Its not an award that pupils voted on. Its the standard award that every child gets at the end of year for achievements, i was just thinking is this the best achievement she could think of after a year "general awesomeness"

and yes he does wear braces, i dont think the dental reference would bother him, by all the aka buisness, it does sound like another pupil has written it, instead of a teacher.

Perhaps im just 'uncool' Grin
