AIBU to wonder WTF neighbour (garden backs onto mine) would be setting off fire extinguishers in his garden? About 10 of them, and I don't get why? Can anyone explain?

according to my husband, you can make bombs out of empty fire extinguishers... Confused

Maybe they're old - past their safe use by date - and he needs them to be empty to dispose of them safely? Or they're much lighter empty and he has to carry them somewhere?

They are big ones like in schools etc, not little household ones.

agentzigzag I agree. Last year he set a fire so big I could see it 4 ft above my back wall, which is 8th high.

What kind of mood was he in Vera?

Jumping about in excitement while he was doing it, or letting them off angrily ranting at the world?

Neither, just seemed to be systematically doing it in the same place. Very odd.

dd came in flapping because she didn't like the noise (was quite loud) so I told her they were alien spaceships taking off. Then went up for a nosy from bedroom window.

Is it not just a weird thing to do?
