She sticks to her principles and fights for womens rights. She deals with the important issues.

Even when vilified by the tabloids she sticks to her guns.

She is intelligent and effective, and out of all the politicians in westminster, I find her the most consistently impressive.

She is a hero!

On the whole, I rather admire her.

izzywhizzyletsgetbusy · 22/07/2011 15:56

She's a nauseating, sanctimonious, self-serving hypocrite and YAB completely U.

As for the odious creature being a 'hero', I'd happily nail her to the vacant column in Trafalgar Square even though her mindset is more suited to Tiananmen Square.

Great question Martha! An example;

www.bbc.co.uk/news/10219053

Harriet Harman (MP) defends rape victims

"We know that it is often only after many rapes that a defendant is finally brought to court and it is only at that point, often, when previous victims find the courage to come forward," she said.

To single out rape defendants sends a very powerful message to juries in rape cases that the rape victim is not to be believed. It sends a devastating message to rape victims that uniquely of all victims they are not to be believed."

Mr Cameron showed "no understanding of the progress that has been made on prosecuting rape and does not realise how seriously this will turn the clock back", she added."

I don't like her

but I have no room in my heart to hate Harriet Harman while Tessa Jowell still walks the earth

love love love Harriet Harman. Women in parliament have a nightmare time. She stands up for women. And as famously said by someone....there is a special space in hell for women who don't support women.

Politicians are all equally nauseating and I think she's a particularly awful example of the breed but, TBH Harriet Harman is a truly wonderful person when compared with that odious, self-important gibbering idiot Diane Abbott

Ungratefulchild · 22/07/2011 16:11

I like her too.

How you manage to sustain the lunacy of HH hatred while Nadine Dorries still breathes

MaxSchreck · 22/07/2011 16:22

I rather like her too.

HHLimbo · 22/07/2011 16:23

tipping - Yes, when women dont support other women particulary on things like womens rights, its rather sad and somewhat perverse.

She handles the tough parlimentary environment well.

Diane Abbott is good too.

I like Harriet Harman. And as a rule I don't like any politicians anymore.
