Ooh, where?

fortyplus · 16/07/2011 00:25

You get reclining seats on planes.

Some people think it's fine to recline

Others don't

Brief enough for you? Grin

weedle · 16/07/2011 00:27

some people are twats
other people are not.

Feel free to assign the label to the group of your choosing (recliners/not recliners) - that seems to be what everyone else has done Grin

JellyBeansOnToast · 16/07/2011 00:30

If you are tall, some people believe you should be punished pay for extra leg room, and let the person in front of you recline.

If you have a baby, you should put it in the overhead locker so the person in front of you retains their Right to Recline (I think that's in the UN Constitution, non?).

ChaosTrulyReigns · 16/07/2011 00:31

Hereyou are BOF.

But, really?

ChaosTrulyReigns · 16/07/2011 00:32

So there are votes for both sides?

JellyBeansOnToast · 16/07/2011 00:36

Yup. And Bupcakes has set up her own airline - 'Cunting Airlines', for non-cunty, non-reclining people. It's all go.

fortyplus · 16/07/2011 00:36

I only ever recline if the person behind has already done so. Therefore if you're in the last row you have a moral obligation to recline Wink

ChaosTrulyReigns · 16/07/2011 00:37

Domino reclining?

Now I want pizza.

Thistledew · 16/07/2011 00:40

When I was a teenage backpacker on a longhaul flight I went to sleep with my feet on the fold down tray of the chair in front of me. I woke a couple of hours later to find that the person in front of me had reclined his chair and I was stuck, wedged, unable to move.

I went back to sleep.

Who WBU?

cantspel · 16/07/2011 00:42

Sometimes i recline and sometimes i dont but not on a basis of who is sitting behind me. Fat, thin, short, tall or with babe in arms makes no difference to me as they haven't paid for my seat.

i read pages 1 2 and 13 (i think) got the general gist within approximately 20 seconds. should you do something just because you're technically entitled to?

GreatBallsOfFluff · 16/07/2011 01:04

I'm unable to decide so you were both being unreasonable thistledew

Soupqueen · 16/07/2011 01:12

On a recent 5 hour flight ( leg 3 in a 36 hr + journey), I was in the back row. Which did not recline. Those in front obviously did. not pleasant!

Grin at this turning into a replica thread.
