Can I tell you how my children did in their SATS and ask if you think I am wrong to be proud of them? Grin

Sirzy · 14/07/2011 21:17

YANBU to do it, YABU to tell us!

GypsyMoth · 14/07/2011 21:17

tethersend · 14/07/2011 21:17

YANBU, SATs are meaningless.

Goblinchild · 14/07/2011 21:17

I'm ignoring all of them, along with the 'My child has a level x, is this good?'
Mrz can pick up the slack, she has infinite patience. Must be the hallmark of an outstanding infant teacher. Grin

It's time like this I'm glad I'm secondary, Goblin Grin

fruitshootsandheaves · 14/07/2011 21:20

it did get a bit much didn't it..along with the 'my child got level 987494759 in reception tests is this good?'...and none where the answer is 'actually that's way below average you numpty'

FannyFifer · 14/07/2011 21:22

I have no idea what an sat test is, is it an English school thing, never heard of it.

MonkeysInShoes · 14/07/2011 21:24

YANBU

I'm not that interested in my own children's results, so sure as he'll not bothered about anyone else's Grin

Goblinchild · 14/07/2011 21:26

You know tethers, I'm not worried about DS's GCSE results at all. I'm just pleased he stayed out of an EBD or PRU. Grin

Mine are in secondary , and I can't make head or tail of DDs report ( and as we live in Wales it's In Welsh first , whichmakesitdoublycomplicated 8 is best on one side ( none ) and 1 is best on other side ( phew ) and then a glossy mag ( bilingual ) how is my child doing at secondary school ( satifactory , at least or why haven't I heard before now ? )
All in such small print that I have to put my reading glasses on. .. Grrr..
