Hah yes. We used to have two deliveries, first and second post, yes?
Then got just one (fine no problem)
Then the one post started to come around midday, then two/three o'clock. Also kind of fine.
Then I commented once at sorting office (not a pointed comment) that x delivery would be fine as it didn't make a difference as we only now got a second post (so recipients wouldn't get it until evening anyway iyswim)
I was frostily informed that NO, it was the second post that had been discontinued, we now just got a 'first post'. At the approximate time of the old second post, if not later. But still the first post 
I laughed in their faces and informed right back that if it looks like the second post, it smells like the second post, and is delivered at the time of the second post, then first post it ain't.
