To think that there's a girl involved.

DS is 12. I normally have to moan at him to go and wash his hair, which he is reluctant to do. He is also very difficult to get out of bed in the morning. Today, he got up early specifically to wash his hair, because "it was a bit greasy".

And the MN jury says ...?

AuntiePickleBottom · 06/07/2011 19:03

Yes

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/07/2011 19:06

LadyThumb - he does have a visible start to his moustache - it started when he still had milk teeth.

My baby's growing up Sad.

Is there lynx involved?

Sure sign in our house Grin

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/07/2011 19:11

No, no Lynx - I have to practically strongarm him to use Sure. But I haven't lifted his arm and reeled back in horror tested him today.

Funtimewincies · 06/07/2011 19:12

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/07/2011 19:15

Grin Funtimewincies, no we had that conversation. Thank god for Captain Jack Harkness and Doctor Who/Torchwood, eh?

Just checking Grin. I remember a very good friend whose mum spotted similar signs but got a bit too keen and close in her attempts to bond over the situation. After her mum had suggested for the umpteenth time that boys like to see a bit of lippy on a girl, my friend cracked and told her that 'it's not boys I like and Sarah doesn't wear lipstick either.'

Maybe not the best handled conversation and it took her mum a long time to accept that it wasn't a phase.

As you say, more opportunities for beginning discussions now maybe Smile.

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/07/2011 19:23

Well, we may have had 'that' discussion, but I am NOT going anywhere near the 'who is she' one.

Good call Grin.

DS has started to willingly shower every day too Grin

Before he had to be forcibly plonked in the bath (via threats of xbox bans etc)
