To keep my son off school tomorrow due to strike?

Ds1 and 2 at same school.
Ds1 class open am only
DS2 class closed all day.
I am losing a day's wages as can't go to work and look after ds2. We might as well do something interesting but if we have to get up to take ds1 and then collect him at lunchtime we can't do anything and ds1 would like me to take him to platform 9 3/4 at King's X.

So am I? How are you going to deal with tomorrow.

Why not have some lovely 1 on 1 time with DS2 in the morning, then pick DS1 up and go somewhere all together?

pointydog · 29/06/2011 17:49

If the school is open for one child then he should go to school otherwise it's an unauthorised absence. I would take advantage of the situation to spend some special time alone with your other dc.

Millk they have put a sign on the wall in the station and there is half a luggage trolley screwed to the wall disappearing into the platform.

Omg! I think my eldest charge may have palpatations! He's obsessed with pretending he's running through a wall trying to get there!

I feel epic photo opportunities are a go go!

PrincessScrumpy · 29/06/2011 18:53

dd would probably run at the wall and end up in hospital! Grin

Oooh! Sad, even i got excited there, until i saw the link BalloonSlayer..

Still a sweet idea though.
