This one is a new one for me!

Our rather hostile neighbours have come up with a rather unusual punishment.

They ordered three brand new wheelie bins - then wrote our house number on their old ones and left them outside our door.

I am utterly confused!

O-K-A-A-Y...how many did you have to start with and where did you keep them? What have they put the markings on with, I expect there's a solvent!

maybe they thought you'd like the extra bins?

Erm? I dont get it, did you need bins? Not sure why its a punishment really?

or are they trying to tell you that the heaps of rubbish bags outside your house are lowering the tone of the neighbourhood?

Why don't you ask them?

WTF. Obviously they couldn't be bothered to get rid.

Paint over the number and put them back.

Continue the crazy and write someone else house number on them and leave outside their house

Oh Ive re-read it, first it seemed like a gift, but do you mean they have made it look like they were yours so you are responsible for getting rid/not having them all over the road etc etc?

Paint over your number. Paint on their number. 547 times, including the lid and the bottom. Attach flag to top, also with their number on. Get thick chain. Chain bins to their fence/front door. Run away. Deny everything.

They could be evil geniuseseses and get away with the crime and you wil lbe AIBUing from Broadmoor next week about how your curfains and bedlinen don't match.
