Me and dh have had an all expenses paid day at ascot with hotel etc with his work and other businesese.
Been out since 10am, drinking all day and 4 course meal and afternoon tea.

Felt really ill on way back to hotel, sick and bloated so came up to room for a lie down.

Everyone downstairs still drinking and now havin a meal. Dh came up and said he thought I was bein antisocial and he thinks I should b there not in bed nursing my stomach

Aibu?

I'm sure he'd rather you were upstairs feeling ill than being downstairs, trying to act ok and then throwing up on someone!

Is he usually this supportive and understanding?

MumGoneCrazy · 15/06/2011 21:29

Ask him if he wants you to be sick on his colleagues Grin

TakeMeDrunkImHome · 15/06/2011 21:31

Tell him you will go downstairs if he doesn't mind his "corporate wife" burping/boaking/farting/clutching her stomach around his hard partying colleagues. Grin.

He is normally supportive and this bowel/stomach thing is a regular occurance.

I think he's worried people will talk 'ooh she just got back 2 the hotel and went 2 bed'
