I have no-one
Just dropped DS off at nursery, so it could be worse, at least I don't have to worry about him today
I feel shit
Sorry just want to moan, feeling very sorry for myself
It's a nice day too, I wanted to do the garden

Sorry, OP. Could you make yourself a nice honey and lemon drink and go and settle yourself in the garden with a good book? Do you have 'Tyrozets'? They're quite good to suck and I find they reduce throat pain really effectively.

Have you been to the dr's to get antibiotics? They will clear it up in no time.

I've heard warm weetabix is good for throats. Can't vouch for it though. Hope you feel better. Lots of sympathy coming your way.

I have doctors appt this afternoon, first of all they told me I couldn't have an appt til Friday!
Then they miraculously came up with an appt for this pm.
I've got some strepsils and paracetemol, my temp is rising!

Go to bed, take painkillers and rest up whilst you can. Much sympathy, tonsilitus is grim.

and now I feel horribly sick because I took 2 antiobiotics
And I've just got my period.

Feeling for you just getting over it, had a week off work, my third time in a year, doc refusing to allow me to go to hospital and get them taken out.

Treat yourself to a Mac Donalds shake it was the only way i could get any food down me.

Like the idea of warm weetabix....numnum

Duvet on the sofa with a window open helped my with my temp changes...

Watch the anibiotics and issues below the waist, they give me terrible thrush i feel like my fanjo is going to peel off, have treatments to hand just in case it will be the last thing you need with period pain.

Had bad reaction to antibiotics, serious stomach pain, cramps and vomiting. Been up all night

Poor you. Go back to the doctor. The tonsilitis still needs to be treated.

Contact your GP, maybe they could give different antibiotics?

phoned the doctor, he said the sickness could be because of the tonsillitis, but I know it's the antibiotics. Said to give myself 24 hours off the antibiotics and then see how I feel
I have had them before, and sometimes felt a bit sick but I just took 2 500mg on not a very full stomach, my own fault really.
Sickness is definitely dying down, but still comes in waves, its horrible.
My throat is slightly better, hasn't much helped my ears and neck though!

the stomach pain and sickness eased off yesterday, so I tried the antibiotics again last night and seem to be ok. Made sure I ate!
