to ask someone fb where they got their top from

A friend posted pictures and there is someone tagged on the photos with a nice top would it be unreasonable to message the person and ask where they got it from? thanks :)

It's supposed to be 'poor form' to ask people where they got something from that you have admired...but I do it all the time

I would be flattered if someone asked me as It would show me 1)they noticed me in a photo 2) they thought I had good taste. But I have somefriends who don't like to tell people where they got things from.

You don't want to come across as a crazy stalker though!
