...told me he'd skype me and the kids at 6/7pm today as he was on a half day at work (he's out in the US at the moment) and at 11.20pm I've still not heard anything from him despite calling his mobile/texting and asking him to let me know he's ok.

I suffer from really bad anxiety anyway so not having heard from him is sending my head into tailspin.

DD was really upset not to have talked to him today (he would usually have phoned midmorning if he was not skyping at night).

AIBU or oversensitive??

Thank you, going to try to go to sleep now but so wound up worrying that I know it's going to be a long night.

And an early morning with a 2 and 4 yr old :(

YANBU AT ALL. Try and get some sleep if you can, or at least step away from the computer, run a warm bath, or just get into bed and put some music on. Do something to make you feel less anxious, and when he calls tomorrow acting like nothing's wrong, make it very clear that if he makes an arrangement to Skype, he needs to stick to it, or at the very least email quickly to let you know something's come up.

Stupid arsing wanker was at the f*ing MALL!!!!

He has pacified me slightly by showing various items he purchased for the kids but STILL fuming!

He had to wait for his lift to drop a couple of guys off and they are an hour from the hotel and no bugger had their phone with them. Bloody men.
