To think that a shitty day trumps a new iPhone

I had a really rubbish day today and by six o clock was feeling adept and miserable. Dh came in and I just wanted a hug and some sympathy, and to offload. He didn't want to know, just wanted me to get excited about his new iPhone and then got stroppy when I didn't. Aibu to think he could have waited getting the darn thing out until I had to started to feel better?

YANBU - however, if you'd bought something really awesome, surely you would want the other person to get excited about it?

So, I don't think he was necessarily being nasty on purpose, just a little insensitive.

Hope you feel better, sorry you had a crap day. :(

Hope you feel better soon, I'm an iPad widow :(

I would, and I felt even worse for having spoilt his excitement.
