I read that as Cleese. And yes, I do love him! Saw him last night infact in his one man show, and he was pretty fabby. And did you know his father's name was in fact, CHEESE? Nope, neither did I.

Off for cheese now after my night of Cleese.

redflagsahoy · 05/06/2011 22:13

I like your style Smethwickbelle....cheese second dinner :)

TalcAndTurnips · 05/06/2011 22:13

I bow to your superior Cheesiness.

Cheese prize is being transmitted in the manner of Willy Wonka's chocolate - when it arrives in your computer it will be veeeeeery small.

Tortu · 05/06/2011 22:23

I tried to give up cheese for lent this year, cracked and spent £50+ at the deli on all my favourites and have been having my cheese and eating it ever since. I have to shop at lidl just so I can afford my habit, where luckily it is pre packed and nothing is organic.

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 06/06/2011 00:37

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, the ALDI blue cheese stinks like foot rot and is bloody good

My DH has a theory that there is no savoury food that cannot be improved by the addition of cheese. Grin
Except parmesan, which he despises, and is my favourite!

kreecherlivesupstairs · 06/06/2011 11:43

Who is Alex twatface James?
Cheese is the best foodstuff in the world. Fact. I don't think I fancy it on curry, but I do agree it livens up everything else.
The only cheese that isn't good is sheepsmilk. That is vomtastic. Me and DD were at an agricultural show in Switzerland and having a fine time with the samples. She really likes cheese too and homed in on a cheese stall. The man behind the counter had a chat with her and gave her a huge knob of creamy cheese on a cracker. She put half of it in her mouth and immediately spewed.
I said that is a total over reaction minikreech and had the second half. I felt like being sick but managed to keep it in.
she has been wary of cheese since then.

IgnoringTheChildren · 06/06/2011 11:44

Mmm - cheese... I'm only just back on it after having to go dairy-free for 6 months to prevent my BF baby's colickiness and nappy rash. Mind you I did have cheese a few times as it's completely unreasonable to expect anyone to go that long without, just had to put up with a grumpy baby.

I clearly don't love cheese as much as some of you do though ---> Tortu!!! Grin

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 06/06/2011 11:45

I lurve cheese. I do. Except goat cheese and really really runny Brie - too much ammonia.
I even lurve French cheese, especially Boursin.
I lurve pecano more than parmesan though - especially if it's made with sheep milk. And buffalo mozzarella..
The list goes on and on and on.

I could eat cheese all day, quite happily.

Fleurdebleurgh · 06/06/2011 11:56
