and kick all children in my house outside in the sunshine? Two friends of my DD have come over to 'play' which consisted of them all sat on the couch, watching tv. I politely suggested to DD that they go out of play or play up in her room. She said they wanted to watch tv programs, so I turned off the tv and said that as they came over to play, thats what they should all be doing. My name is now mud! Grin

You could clear your name if you've got any ice lollies to share around?

YANBU though, it's lovely out there.

Well I dont normally like to interfere when DD1 has friends over, her street cred and all that...but all four of them staring gormlessly at the tv grated! I will cope with the 'mum is not cool' flack.

no ice lollies. I do have haribo pick and mix gummy things. Perhaps a bit of bribery is the way forward.

I threw some haribo in a dish along with some choc chip cookies and they love me again. Crisis over Grin I wonder if their wee pals have had dinner yet. Hmm

YANBU, I don't allow any screens on when ds (7) has friends here. They sometimes mill around in the living room and sigh about being bored, but I'm unmoved and they soon sort themselves out!
