Where I live is a cultural wasteland. There are no museums, art galleries or places of interest other than parks. There is nothing on here and its half term! It would be a good hours drive or a train journey to anything remotely ok for kids. Bit desperate for something to do...

By the way, Im sure there are activities about. Yesterday we just fancied a museum, art gallery or place of interest. :)

It's not a rink-Warrington is the nearest for that,people skate down the prom as it is smooth enough.

I feel your frustration though when the weather is not great and you just fancy something.
