AIBU...six months ago our dentist charged £35 for a check up and clean and children were free, now I know this was very good value but he has now retired and new dentist taken over. He charges £54 for check up but no clean, you see hygenist at £60 for that! So for family of 4 our bill has gone up to £302 including the children who are a bit cheaper :( It was £70 for a family check up six months ago!
Now our hairdressers has gone crazy! Everything has shot up and my only treat which I have done every half term is becoming too costly! My DD wanted a fringe cut and they wanted to charge £14....I mean am I just being silly here but how long does it take to cut a fringe!
Sorry I'm moaning just fed up with it all. We both work all day and seem to have nothing to show for it....I'm having a fed up day..oops! Sorry to moan!

We cut our own hair....well...I do it all. If you do that, then your dentist bills will be balanced out. Google tutorials.

Everyone's having a hard time.

Cut your own fringe, really it's not hard. Personally I wouldn't attempt anything more complicated than that, but a FRINGE, £14 is just ridiculous.

DS has curly hair, thank god for clippers!

My water bill went from £18/month to £30/month... just like that!

Yes I did cut it and its wasn't bad! Well it was straight at least! Don't think I'd want to cut hair though...too much of a chicken for that!
