Obviously the Obamas are a very striking couple to look at; but so what.they are the leaders of of what is arguably the worlds most powerful country.
I suppose almost all poor people in America voted for Obama. Have they had their payback? Or is America as some commentators say, really run by billionaires with the President in a stranglehold?
If I had been an American, I would have voted Democrat; but by now I would be asking WHATS CHANGED?
As for the Obamas as role models. Its a bit silly; because most people in England and America would not touch a political career with a disinfected bargepole.
That said, we will always need politicians; unless you know better... ?
