Her kids go to the same school as mine. It's the last day before the holidays and she has kept her dcs off school. She always does it actually, every holiday, her kids get an extra day off!
And all they are doing is tidying up.
I'm a bit hormonal but I really want to email the headmaster to invite him to mine for a brew then he can listen to them through the wall.

Yabu

Non of your business

Thingumy · 27/05/2011 10:41

Leave it alone.

I'm sure the school are aware of any unauthorised absences and any regular patterns of days off 'sick'.

Ungratefulchild · 27/05/2011 10:41

Yes you abu. Surely you must have better things to think about?

soggybottomflancase · 27/05/2011 10:42

tbh, I reckon the class teaches might be glad that the kids aren't at school

What Merry said.

DooinMeCleanin · 27/05/2011 10:42

Maybe they all have chicken pox, but feel well in themselves or some other infectious but not tiring illness. How would you know?

Besides from the fact that it is none of your business if she does every half term the school will be aware of the pattern.

taylor74 · 27/05/2011 10:42

My mom used to do the same. Don't say anything no one likes a snitch. What she does is her business and it's only 1 frigging day.

meow to your last post

QueenCee · 27/05/2011 10:43

Yabu.
It's their business and I'm sure the school are aware. It doesn't effect you or yours so I think it's a bit mean spirited tbh. Sorry!

soggybottomflancase · 27/05/2011 10:43

I have got better things to think about but my thoughts are interrupted by her shouting and swearing at them

expatinscotland · 27/05/2011 10:45

YABU.

5318008 · 27/05/2011 10:45

I absolutely think you should grass them up to satisfy your urges

soggybottomflancase · 27/05/2011 10:46

taylor why did your mum do it?

OP posts:
QueenCee · 27/05/2011 10:46

If the shouting and swearing bothers you, maybe you could go round and ask her to keep the noise down.
Telling the school isn't going to cure the noise issue.

midas · 27/05/2011 10:46

Well in our school teacher has asked the class to bring a U or PG DVD in today and if they are good they might even have popcorn!

squeakytoy · 27/05/2011 10:47

I used to love the last day of term when I was at school.. it was always a fun day to be there.

fifi25 · 27/05/2011 10:48

What you bothered for. Its non of your bloody business.

soggybottomflancase · 27/05/2011 10:49

I wouldn't grass them up because I don't really care about them, but I do feel a bit sorry for them because they miss all the fun days at school.

crazynanna · 27/05/2011 10:49

Does said neighbour only shout and swear on illegal school days-off,or is it an all week thing?

TheHumanCatapult · 27/05/2011 10:49

dd y3 is of today ,she has gone on holiday ,school grumbled but when i asked what they was doing teacher saidboard games and dvds .So of to Spain she has gone.

soggybottomflancase · 27/05/2011 10:50

She's always shouting and swearing that's her hobby! But only in the house she's very polite in the street, so she knows it's wrong!

OP posts:
taylor74 · 27/05/2011 10:53

Soggy she just did mainly as the last day we'd have no lessons so only played and this was only in junior school. She never did it in highschool.

SpringchickenGoldBrass · 27/05/2011 10:53

Oh get over yourself. WHy not switch on Jeremy Kyle then you can judge your way to an orgasm?

fifi25 · 27/05/2011 10:53

My kids would have happily stayed off today had i let them. I dont think she would have forced them to stay off. How do you know they are not going away for the weekend and the kids have took a days holiday. Why not go ask her?

Thornykate · 27/05/2011 10:53

wow you really are up in her business OP.
