The woman who once was my DSD, she is now 22 yrs old and has just told me I was always in her heart.

And that she always tells people she has 2 mums.

I was with her dad when I was 20-22 so not long really but it was a lovely time for her and now I am so glad I loved her the way I did.

She told me she always remembered the last thing I said to her

"No matter when or where one day you and I will be able to see eachother again, just remember I love you so much"

She said she got her mum to write it down and has had it with my photo ever since. We have recently got in touch after a few years (Cirumstances her end prevented it) and all she keeps saying is she loves me.

Fabby and mine. Its been a long time and I never realised what I had done for her. Until we have had a few long conversations and I also feel guilty as she said things were not good for her when I left as she missed me so much and would get in trouble for talking about me. Sad

Bloomin' pregnancy hormones of mine. Made me tear up. :)

That's lovely to hear that you two still have such a great relationship.

Oh dear. You have made me cry. In a nice way.

FabbyChic · 24/05/2011 19:31

It's lovely she has such good memories of you. I hope you keep in touch.

TheLadyEvenstar · 24/05/2011 19:40

We will do, she has invited me to go and stay with her when she gets settled in her new place out of London. She has had me in tears, by telling me all the things she remembers and that she still has the video of me and her dancing and singing and generally playing.

Reminding me of the outfits I made her to play in etc.

And finally telling me

"I missed you Voyi and always loved you"

My DH now thinks I'm a loon as I'm sat here crying at your post!

In my defence, I have just got home after a 12hr day at work and missed my DD's bedtime.

What a lovely thing for your DSD to say.

Thanks for your replies. We had a lot of chats last night and I ended up awake talking until 1.30am.

We will be meeting up soon Grin
