On facebook do you know how you can post places you are? So X is in name of resturant with Y.

Well someone keeps posting X is in bed with Y. and then half an hour later "ooh lovely cuddle snuggles in be with Y"

One of my friends is constantly posting about being in bed, being on the loo, being at pizza hut, or whatever. Her statuses are also mundane and say things like "Just hung the washing out".

It's similar to meeting up with your jeering mates in the pub the next day with a ridiculous grin and red face - but less subtle.

I think in this kind of situation you're duty bound to make a sarcastic/cutting comment to pop their bubble of love

I have never updated my location on FB, but I have looked at it and based on your GPS thing, it gives you a list of 'locations' nearby and you pick the one you're at. When I'm at home, if I click on the list, several come up for 'my bed' which are presumably people nearby, neighbours etc who have set up their bed as one of these 'locations'. I have a really strong desire to select one of them, so that it pops up that I'm in their bed and totally freaks them out.

I do wonder about people who use that location thing to say they're out at xxx restaurant or yyy pub - what do their companions think when they're left sitting there as they're glued to their phones updating their statuses? (or worse, MNing about it...:o)

my friends do the silly x is at ys house ......y is making x a drink y thats a lovely coffee ....FGS tell each other verbally dont do it through facebook .

My friends dd has SN and she has fb but she thinks all the updates are directed at her she answers them as if they are too 'why u telling me?' 'so what if that dress is nice it wont fit'....etc etc.

things like that are only posted on facebook for the benefit of everyone else, she is effectively marking her territory. i don't know why she doesn't just pee up his leg.

I suspect its her first proper boyfriend (shes 20 I think, more an aquaintance than a friend) and she is wanting to brag, but god! I want to post most of us have had a shag too love!

I suspect the guy loves it - he is getting tagged in all this so its going on his wall infront of his mates how much sex he is getting. I dont think he would like the pee up the leg thing as much...mind you some guys like that

i have friend who are trying for a baby... we know they are as they have told us... always "looking forward to going to be with" "at IN BED " comments 'love you', love you more' 'now you dont' 'i do' etc etc

Delete delete delete - it has saved my friendship with a girl, i had began to "hate" her and her stupid facebook posts and was at the stage where i couldnt hardly talk to her in person because her updates were so annoying. Deleted her from my account and now we can get on fine where as all my other friends are still going mad about the constant updates lol.

I do think people who post they are at home are bonkers. Do they not realise that you can click on it and get practically their full address? I love FB and don't freak out over security issues but I can't see the sense in telling the world where you live and then 2 days later posting that you're at the airport on your holliers.
