nothing's wrong with her, omni - she's just letting us down - we were waiting for updates on her roadhogging woman and she hasn't been back to the thread.

Don't you know? She rules the roads, no one dares to darken the hedgerows on her patch

kungfupanda I'm so glad you came back! I've just re-found your thread and read it all at once, pmsl all the way through!

I need to tell you what my Dad used to do when he met a 'reverse refuser'-he used to calmly get out of his car, go over and offer to reverse their car for them, since they couldn't do it themselves! A couple of times, he was even taken up on his offer!

Another one of his was one morning, when he was waiting at a busy T-junction at a main road behind another driver.He got so fed up of waiting for her to get the perfect 'gap' in traffic to pull out and turn left that he got out of his car, walked out into the middle of the road and held up his hands to stop the traffic in both directions, then dramatically waved her through!

He was a bit of a one, was my Dad!

Thanks grockle and nickelbabe . Sadly, he is long gone now but many people still remember him. He was a big 'character' round here!

He also used to make us get out of the car onthe school run in the mornings, run to the pelican crossing and press the button, just to get the traffic moving around in another direction, IYSWIM!

Another favourite was to drive through town with all the windows down and Tosca or some other 'passionate' opera blaring out...and this was before that scene at the end of Pretty Woman!
