I got an email from someone I worked with once that just said 'die'.

Turned out they'd sat on their BlackBerry.

Or this is what they told me.

snuffleturtle - I'd have been more upset if it said 'diet'. Death threats I can cope with, all too true unfair accusations of being overweight are a step too far.

"die" :o. How did you tackle it? Did you approach them casually at the water cooler and throw into the conversation that you believed they wished you dead? Or did you run away from them for weeks?

That would have upset me more!

No I emailed them back asking what I'd done to offend them! They were very embarassed though I did wonder if he'd simply sent it to the wrong person... Would have to be a very talented bum to manage that...

Snuffle I've just really worried my husband and the dog by laughing insanely at that. Proper insane laughter including snorting and hyperventilating.

Funnily enough the same chap with the talented bum got himself into hot water soon after that, by ending a group email about an upcoming 'Understanding & Valuing Diversty' course with the words 'Kind retards'.
