appeared on the bottom of my shopping list this morning in my DH's scribble. It's his mums birthday on Friday.

AIBU to cause him pain for the murder of 'th'?

He doesnt say Forntons Confused

I wiuld get rid because he called himself 'boy' Grin

I dont know why but it made me feel a bit [boak]

Acanthus · 18/05/2011 10:04

I don't like the boy bit either!

EmmaBemma · 18/05/2011 10:07

I'd be more worried that he thinks some supermarket chocolates are a suitable birthday present for his mum, and that he couldn't even be bothered to get them himself. Will he wrap them himself? Sign his own card? (from "Boy"?)

LordOfTheFlies · 18/05/2011 10:09

HaHaHaHa- my DD (nearly 9) has such lovely writing that sweets for children and clothes for DD appears regularly on my list and I think "did I write that?".

Note to self: shop on-line, the little buggers can't tamper with itGrin

Sirzy · 18/05/2011 10:09

I would tell him you couldn't find any "forntons" so he better go and pick an alternative himself!

bupcakesandcunting · 18/05/2011 10:10

Does the "boy" refer to your DS?

Am chuckling a bit, though. It's the sort of thing that my nobhead DH would do. But without the boy bit.

LordOfTheFlies · 18/05/2011 10:10

Or maybe it was Four tons of chocolates. Then no excuse not to share!

twolittlemonkeys · 18/05/2011 10:11

Both the 'Forntons' and 'Boy' bit would make me irrationally Angry

PrettyCandles · 18/05/2011 10:11

Your dh wrote this?! I assumed from the title that your ds had written it!

YANBU at all.

EmmaBemma · 18/05/2011 10:12

I think you're going to have to leave him.

Paschaelina · 18/05/2011 10:12

Ok the Boy bit just means our son who is 8 months old. It's for a little birthday present from him to his nanny. Grin

More concerned he thinks I'm going to pass up the opportunity to take the piss for rubbish spelling I know he is capable of really.

Buy him a card to "Mummy from your little boy" Wink and do what Sirzy says about the chocolates.

Flisspaps · 18/05/2011 10:13

Ignore my suggestion about the card then, X-post.

And leave the bastard Wink

Paschaelina · 18/05/2011 10:15

EmmaBemma (good name) he's a demon wrapper! Rulers, perfect folds, no wastage at all! He does all the wrapping in this house.
