AIBU in thinking people shouldn't...

...park tiny little cars deep in parking spaces so you can't see them. You're driving round looking for a space and think you see one. You drive over praising the god of car parks for your good fortune only to discover as you start to turn into the space that it's infested with a Punto or Smartcar or similar. I think if you drive a itsy bitsy car you should leave your rear end hanging out a bit.

YABU as long as they are actually in the space and not so far forward and that they are in the other space.

YANBU god I hate that! Raises my hopes then I realise, no will have to park all the way over there -------> miles away from entrance to shopping centre and I'll have to waddle that much further. Angry

I saw 2 'spaces' today just before the exit of the car-park. (Twyford Waitrose). After discovering they were half full already I had to drive out the car-park, turn round and go back in.

worse than this is where the car park has a designated bike bay, yet they park a solo motorbike in a car space.

I want to walk over and push it over. I get very irrationally angry

So everybody agrees with me, although not with killing them, apart from xstich. I think we can assume she's 'one of them' and can be ignored.

Is there some kind of Car Park Tsar?

I hate this too, even though I used to drive a Matiz. I always parked with bonnet poking out a wee bit, cos I got so annoyed when fellow small car people park in the way you describe. So I'll be in on the killing too....

Maybe there should be special half-car spaces in car parks, a bit like parent and child spaces except at the far end of the car park (because if you have a small car then you can't possibly have much shopping/stuff to carry to or from it). Obviously the wardens will have to enforce tiny cars parking in the designated spaces and kill them fine them heavily if they don't.

I do park in parent and child spaces. I love them as they are so wide and my car is so small so no danger of anyone opening their doors and denting mine! Grin

Yessss I knew I wasnt crazy for not parking my tiny polo all the way into the back of a space... I dont want to come back to find a car has swung in thinking the space is empty and damage my 13 year old piece of crap beautiful car.

I hate how those little cars get my hopes up!!

Ummmm is now the time to say I hate how those BIG cars hide a vacant parking space so I go past it...too late to reverse cos the dickhead observant driver in the mahoosive car behind me is already pulling into it .
