to not like the word 'entertain'

I am probably U. It is irrational hate but whenever i hear 'how do you entertain your dcs' i want to scream that i am not a clown. I know people mean 'interacting' but it brings into my mind a paid clown who visits childrens parties or something.

As for 'entertaining guests' it makes me think of wearing a belly dance costume at dinner parties Grin

I'm not even going into 'entertaining dh' ....

Oh yes, entertaining a gentleman caller...

ChippyMinton · 14/05/2011 10:22

LOL
I can't stand property shows where people admire the kitchen-diner and speak of 'cooking and chatting with guests'.
