To love the book " May Contain Nuts". Got it years ago, but reading it again, the perks of a bad short term memory...

And to say it represents a proportion of mumsnet....

I enjoyed the tv version. Bit of an idealised ending though. I did 'recognise' a lot of the characters though.

He is a funny writer. I know I've read it but cannot remember what its about - is it the one about the parents getting the girl into school? Anyway, time for a re-read.

Yes I thoroughly enjoyed this book - some LOL moments. DD (15) also a big fan - she must have read it several times now.

The TV version was within the last year I think. The Mum was quite well cast. They changed the plot but only ever so slightly.

Liked the book better.

I loved it too though the ending was rather predictable
